For ABC’s The Prank Panel, I joined stylist Kelly Augustine’s team assisting with wardrobe for Gabourey Sidibe. With production taking place in Los Angeles, I worked on set throughout filming, helping translate the established wardrobe direction into Gabourey’s day-to-day looks and ensuring she remained camera-ready throughout production.
THE STORY
Working in real time on set required balancing the creative vision with the practical demands of television production. I managed Gabourey’s wardrobe on the ground, preparing and styling looks, overseeing fit and presentation, making adjustments as needed, and maintaining continuity while responding to the pace and needs of each filming day. The role required both creative judgment and the ability to execute independently while remaining aligned with Kelly’s overall direction.
CREATIVE APPROACH
The result was a cohesive on-screen wardrobe that supported Gabourey’s personality and presence throughout the series while meeting the demands of a multi-episode television production. My on-set contribution was formally recognized in the show’s closing credits with the individual credit “Stylist to Gabourey’s Sidibe: Precious Enaohwo.”
