Working as part of lead stylist Kelly Augustine’s team, I supported wardrobe for Gabourey Sidibe across 9 episodes of ABC’s The Prank Panel, executing approximately 20 on-camera looks throughout production. With Kelly based in New York and filming taking place in Los Angeles, I served as the on-set stylist responsible for carrying her established wardrobe direction through each shoot day. I prepared and organized Gabourey’s looks, dressed talent, managed wardrobe changes, monitored fit and garment presentation on camera, maintained continuity, and made real-time styling adjustments as production needs shifted. The role required me to independently manage the day-to-day execution of Gabourey’s wardrobe while remaining aligned with the larger styling and production teams.

PROJECT SCOPE

For ABC’s The Prank Panel, I joined stylist Kelly Augustine’s team supporting wardrobe for Gabourey Sidibe. Because production took place in Los Angeles while Kelly was based in New York, the project required me to take greater responsibility for the day-to-day execution of Gabourey’s wardrobe on set. I worked throughout filming to translate Kelly’s creative direction consistently while ensuring Gabourey remained polished and camera-ready across the production.

THE STORY

Television styling required a different kind of creative discipline. Rather than building a single look for one photographed moment, I had to protect the wardrobe direction throughout long production days while responding to what was happening on camera. I managed Gabourey’s looks on the ground, monitored fit and garment presentation, maintained continuity, and made real-time adjustments when needed. The role required independent judgment and problem-solving while remaining aligned with Kelly’s overall vision and the needs of the production.

CREATIVE APPROACH

Gabourey’s wardrobe maintained a cohesive visual identity throughout the series while meeting the practical demands of a multi-episode television production. My responsibility on the Los Angeles set grew beyond traditional assisting into hands-on execution of her wardrobe throughout filming. My contribution was formally recognized in the show’s closing credits with the individual credit “Stylist to Gabourey Sidibe: Precious Enaohwo.”
