Paparazzi
Editorial · Original Concepts
Inspired by living and working in Los Angeles, Paparazzi explores the spectacle surrounding celebrity culture with the glamour, attention, and constant possibility of being seen. I imagined an LA “it girl” moving through the city, running everyday errands while inevitably attracting the paparazzi. The concept became an opportunity to take a familiar part of Hollywood culture and reinterpret it through the Couture Moments lens.
THE STORY
I led the project from concept through execution, including creative direction, casting, location scouting, wardrobe styling, and photography. I approached the fashion by imagining what my version of an LA “it girl” would actually wear while out in the city: bold, glamorous, and slightly excessive, even in otherwise ordinary moments. The locations, shopping bags, movement and paparazzi-style framing were used to make the images feel like glimpses captured while following her through her day.
CREATIVE APPROACH
The final editorial transformed an original idea into a complete visual world and became an exercise in creative leadership beyond styling alone. Projects like Paparazzi are an important part of my practice. Creating without waiting allows me to experiment, strengthen my point of view, and continually practice taking an idea from my imagination through production and into a finished body of work.
